AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Sr.Manager, DET Supply Chain & Manufacturing – Purchasing.
The Sr. Manager for Purchasing within the Digital Enterprise Technology (DET) - Supply Chain and Manufacturing team is a pivotal role that entails leading a team of Business Analysts to drive the detailed design and implementation of solutions in Direct and Indirect procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and supplier management. This position necessitates extensive experience with SAP procurement modules and is crucial throughout the entire project & maintenance life cycle. The role leads the effort to analyze, validate and document the business, process, system & data requirements acting as a key liaison/engagement role between the global AGCO business and IT support functions. The responsibilities include providing support for project solution design, configuration, testing, ongoing day-to-day operational needs (maintenance, fixes, enhancements, releases, and small change requests.) and performing data analysis. This position reports to the Director, DET Supply Chain & Manufacturing under the CIO DET organization in AGCO.
Your Impact
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of projects in the areas of Purchasing SAP domains in the Direct and InDirect process areas. Management, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and IT strategy. Support manage the project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and quality, applying the best practices of project management methodology. Lead, motivate & develop the project team, including internal and external resources, to deliver high-quality results and meet the project milestones. Communicate effectively with the project stakeholders, sponsors, and senior management, providing regular status updates, escalations, and recommendations. Ensure the compliance of the project deliverables with the IT standards, policies, and procedures, as well as the regulatory and audit requirements. Manage the change management and training activities related to the SAP projects, ensuring the smooth transition and adoption of the new solutions. Support the maintenance and continuous improvement and optimization of the SAP solutions identifying and implementing best practices and innovations. Manage the 3rd party outsource partners to ensure the resources are in a right quality, their deliveries are in alignment with AGCOs needs. Works on the SLAs, by defining, measuring effectiveness, and drive improvements in the support model if it’s necessary.Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in SAP project management, with a focus on one of the domains of SAP Procure to Pay in platforms like SAP ECC, SAP S/4, Ariba P2P, Ariba CLM, Fieldglass etc. 6 years + of proven track record of delivering complex and large-scale SAP projects within scope, budget, and timeline. Strong knowledge of SAP solutions and processes in the areas of Strategic and Operational Purchasing Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Effective working relationship with the business to ensure business requirements are accurately captured, agreed and accepted. Fluent in English.
