Purpose of RoleThe Senior Manager, Ecomm Marketing is responsible for marketing strategy and execution for all marketing related activities focusing on Under Armour EMEA owned and operated Ecomm platforms. The Senior Manager role will be accountable for Performance Marketing, Affiliate and CRM operations for developing cross-channel plans that lead traffic to the brand ecommerce sites within the region.
The maternity coverage will be for a period of approximately 8 months.
Your ImpactThe role will own the activation across the EMEA region for all Ecomm related paid activations, working closely with the DTC and Marketing teams. With significant experience in communications planning, user journey design, digital strategy and performance-based media, this person will ensure the annual programming in the Region that delivers on brand and business KPIs:
Lead and develop the Ecomm marketing team (performance marketing, CRM and affiliate) Execute, and evolve as necessary, a yearly holistic execution plan that seamlessly connects CRM and performance marketing to overall brand calendar and Ecomm business goals/priorities. Support the development & execution of seasonal integrated marketing plans for UA.com, that connect to regional category & global strategies, ultimately, to deliver revenue goals and channel KPIs Work closely with channel merchandising to drive seasonal go-to-market strategies that aim to deliver clear directives for commercial storytelling & prioritization to functional counterparts (specifically, Ecommerce, Marketing Ops and Retention & Acquisition teams) Partner with Global Channel teams to consult on seasonal briefs, ensuring Ecommerce POV is reflected, and channel needs are accounted for Leverage Content & Analytics partners to drive seasonal hind sighting and deliver clear insights for future planning Work closely with Category Marketing and Ecomm teams to ensure seasonal Ecomm calendar and briefs incorporate Performance Marketing/CRM/Affiliate support Develop/provide/socialize a deep understanding of performance marketing budgets and content’s impact to channel KPIs Accountable to the overarching ecommerce performance and will effectively leverage Ecomm marketing team to optimize results within defined KPIs and Budget. Lead Acquisition and Retention digital marketing in EMEA including Paid channels: Social, DPA, Search, Programmatic, PLA, Display, Affiliate and Email. Maintain reporting routines (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to recognize the impact of spend against each revenue channel and optimize to grow sales, traffic, conversion, and consumer file. Collaborate with Brand / Category Marketing Leaders to intake regional campaign strategies, stories, and KPIs and create detailed performance marketing / CRM / investment plans accordingly. Create a culture of Digital expertise, summarizing learnings and performance to teach cross functional partners best methods for high performing and efficient plans, including, content, creative, placement new ad products, new technologies and platforms. Partner with Creative to ensure creative assets developed meet the needs of the performance marketing plan, including opportunities to test and learn. Identify creative gaps based on changing media landscape. Be a valuable and trusted partner to your cross-functional partners on the optimal platforms and content across all communications touch points to drive forward the business and marketing objectives. Own multiple regional agency and media partner relationships in strategic and executional planning. Maintain clear communication, expectations and timelines with internal teammates and external partners on deliverables. Identify new opportunities and solutions for digital platforms through innovation, advancement and thought leadership Qualifications BA/BS Marketing or related field 8+ years digital marketing experience within the retail sector (Agency or Brand) Proven experience with digital strategy and campaigns including SEM, Affiliate, Display, Programmatic, Retargeting, Paid Social, Attribution, SEO and Email 2- 4 years of management experience; or equivalent experience as the subject matter lead or expert in area of expertise. Experience developing and managing multi-million-dollar campaign and channel budgets Strong analytics skills and understanding of KPIs for digital media Ability to distill multiple data sources into actionable insights and recommended optimizations and effectively communicate them to cross-functional counterparts Ability to manage and maintain multiple agency and media partner relationships Experience in leveraging advertising campaign management platforms such as; Google AdWords, Facebook business Manager, Snapchat, Pinterest, Bing, etc. Expert User of MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote Proven experience with Analytics Tools like Adobe Omniture.
