UPMC Health Plan is hiring a full-time Sr. Manager, Marketing for our Marketing and Communications Department! This position is hybrid.
Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the Sr. Manager will work closely with a cross-functional team to develop and implement test designs for marketing programs and generate insight and recommendations for future campaigns. This position will manage a team of campaign analyst to operationally execute campaigns.
Campaign Design and Strategy (40%): Consult with the Campaign managers to confirm and finalize marketing campaign requirements. Determine data sources required to meet campaign specifications. Translate marketing campaign requirements into campaign targeting/selection rules. Finalize campaign requirements with Marketing team members. Build campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Campaign Build and Execution (30%): Manage campaign analyst team to deliver all campaign lists. Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve data issues. Finalize campaign requirements. Receive and QA any external data files troubleshooting any potential campaign issues. Execute campaigns ensuring 100% error free work.
Campaign Results Analysis (30%): Develop and implement test designs for marketing and operations programs and generate insight and recommendations. Support ad hoc campaign performance analyses with Marketing team.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage marketing team to develop campaigns that support growth and retention of membership. Oversight of annual campaign strategies and supporting content calendars. Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels – direct mail, email, digital and broad media. End to end responsibility for execution of all marketing campaigns specific to line of business, including identifying and detailing appropriate channels and tactics. Expected to learn and develop a deep understanding of the insurance industry in order to successfully perform role. Research, analyze, and report on competitive campaigns. Report results of key campaigns to demonstrate growth driven from the campaigns.
