(Sr.) Manager, Medical Affairs Analytics assists medical affairs team making quantitative decision/digging medical insights through data analytics enablement. The position will develop a deep understanding of various Medical Affairs, LillyChina and Global focused data sources, create analyses, ensure analytic outputs align with business results and communicate key outputs to decision makers.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis for Medical Affairs: Conduct comprehensive analyses, which include but are not limited to:Identify, prioritize, and implement analytical solutions that provide data driven insights, help answer critical questions and meet business partner decision needsLead the analytics initiatives and recommendation to transform medical affairs operations, thereby enhancing their effectiveness and productivityLeverage global capabilities to identify Clinical Care Gap (CCG) to guide medical affairs planning and execution.Evaluate and establish trustful local data to measure the addressing and mitigating of CCGLeverage local data sources to identify Thought Leader (TL), Scientific Expert (SE) and Clinical Expert (CE) of HCP, thereby establishing HCP level data infrastructure for medicalKeep high synergy with cross-functional teams and ensure cross channel/data analysis and provide meaningful measurement.Global Collaboration: Collaborate with global team closely and ensure China being involved in developing data analytic capabilitiesData Source Identification and Management: Work with data teams to develop a comprehensive understanding for the data MA has access to, be able to identify and manage the data or system by needs.Capability Development Support: Identify and grow the medical affair capability in using data and analytics by identifying, sharing and training on medical affairs analysis projects.Ensure compliance with all privacy and contractual obligations related to the use of data.Other key initiatives/special projects as neededEducation Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (Master preferrable) in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, or equivalent work experienceExperience Related Requirements
Basic qualifications:
5+ years of strong data analytics experience with business acumen in healthcare industry and an ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment.Fluent in English for effective collaboration with international colleagues.Strong knowledge of advanced analytics algorithms (e.g. Regression, Time Series, Cluster, etc.) and programming language (e.g. Python, R, etc.).Excellent communication (written &verbal), interpersonal influencing skills and prioritization skills with attention to detail.Additional Preferences
