YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee, manage and enhance the OpenText Onboarding Program for the OpenText global Sales organization. The goal for this function is to equip new hires with the tools, knowledge, connections and skills they need to succeed. The ideal candidate will have expertise in adult education, employee engagement, and an understanding of progression frameworks to ensure new hires achieve key milestones at 30, 60, 90 days, six months, and beyond.
As a key partner in driving organizational growth, you will collaborate across teams, Business Units and functions to identify opportunities that will optimize onboarding processes and accelerate team member engagement, participation and overall business success.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
Onboarding Program Design: Lead development and delivery of enhancements to our sales onboarding strategy.Continuous improvement of structured competency-based onboarding curricula.Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize the new hire experience whether systems, process or learning based. Design, develop and deliver learning experiences: Blended learning experiences and documentation on the various topic areas critical to the onboarding process including processes and tools, product knowledge, sales methodology, soft skills, competitive positioning as well as peer-to-peer and networking opportunities.Provide role-specific onboarding tailored to various sales roles (e.g., Account Executive vs. Solutions Consultant vs. Sales Manager vs Solutions Consultant Manager).Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with Sales Leadership, Operations, Product, Marketing, and HR, IT to align onboarding programs, corporate requirements and business objectives, KPI’s, systems and processes, product knowledge, and market strategies.Performance and Evaluation Feedback: Set clear onboarding milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs).Monitor and assess new hires' performance during and after onboarding.Gather feedback from SMEs, team members and managers to continuously improve the program.Process Optimization, Scalability and Reporting:Identify gaps in processes, skills or resources, recommend solutions and action outcomes.Stay updated on industry best practices to continuously enhance the onboarding experience.Design and deliver reporting dashboards with the support of data specialists.Prepare high-impact executive summaries, presentations and dashboards synthesizing data into clear insights for senior leadership with the ability to present findings with clarity, emphasizing key takeaways and recommendations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
5+ years of experience in learning and development and/or program management with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.Proven expertise in adult education and employee experience/engagement Proficiency with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) learning management systems (LMS) and enablement tools (e.g. Showpad).Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
