We are the internal creative team for L’Oreal USA’s American Brands of the Professional Products Division, including Redken, Matrix, Biolage, Pureology, Mizani, Pulp Riot and L’Oreal Technique.
We are seeking a talented and experienced In-House Photographer to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide our team with a nimble and agile solution to producing high-quality, on-demand imagery for all of our brands' increasing content needs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in product photography and still life, particularly with luxury goods and beauty products.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Pre-Production: Collaborate on imagery direction and conceptual approach.
+ Production: Capture high-end stills, including lighting and some prop styling direction (partnering with prop stylists and set designers as needed)
+ Post-Production: Perform light retouching, organize files, and ensure on-time delivery of final retouched selects.
+ Work on various projects requiring still assets for e-commerce, print, retail, social media, etc., adapting to each brand's unique aesthetic.
+ Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing leads for each brand to bring their visual concepts to life.
Required Skills and Experience:
+ 5-10 years of experience in photography within the luxury or beauty space.
+ Sophisticated visual taste and a keen eye for dynamic visual composition.
+ Understanding of visual brand equity and the ability to retain it while evolving and remaining modern and relevant.
+ Mastery of photo capture and editing tools and software, including camera equipment, lighting, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
+ Skilled in retouching, with a mastery of Adobe Photoshop.
+ Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure and tight deadlines.

+ Resilience and the ability to handle feedback constructively.
+ Broad knowledge of pop culture and iconic visual moments to draw inspiration from.
