To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What you’ll be doing** Reporting to the Director, Physical Security Systems and Technologies, the Senior Manager, Physical Security Systems is responsible for leading and overseeing various initiatives and projects relating to CIBC’s enterprise physical security systems mandate to ensure program requirements and objectives are met. This position will also be responsible for the management and implementation of physical security systems; including system design, programming, commissioning and ongoing maintenance programs to ensure overall program compliance and effectiveness. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote_ **How you’ll succeed** + **Program Management** - Contribute to the overall physical security systems mandate and oversee the management, design, programming, commissioning and maintenance of security system projects and initiatives. Contribute to the overall strategy and standards relating to CIBC’s enterprise wide physical security systems. + **Physical Security Standards** – Development and management of associated security systems standards to safeguard CIBC’s tangible and intangible assets. Identifying, evaluating and recommending methods to mitigate threats to people, property, and information. + **Program Governance** – Monitor effectiveness of programs and report on associated metrics. Implement and oversee a program to ensure associated documentation is maintained according to records retention policies. Developing governance and oversight strategies necessary to fulfill monitoring and reporting accountabilities for standards owned by the Physical Security Systems Team. Perform reviews of CIBC’s Corporate Security Standards, updating as necessary to ensure the standards reflect the evolving operating and threat environment. + **Relationship Management** - Liaise with stakeholders to support CIBC’s physical security efforts. This will include establishing lines of communication and a network of good professional relationships. Providing advice and support to various internal stakeholders on the overall physical security systems program and associated administration. + **Vendor Management** - Oversight and management of contracted physical security systems suppliers and ensure vendor compliance with SLA/KPI’s. **Who you are** + **You can demonstrate** **experience in.** Management and implementation of physical security system design, programming, commissioning, maintenance and system management (3 - 5 years). There is a preference for individuals who can demonstrate direct experience in physical security system design, deployment, maintenance and life cycle management for enterprise-wide physical security systems; possession of a professional designation in the security and/or security system design field such as ones available from ASIS International (CPP, PSP), Professional Engineers Ontario (EIT, P.Eng) or Building Industry Consulting Service International (RCDD) would be beneficial.
