We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds.  We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Manager, Portfolio & Pricing Strategy individual to join our team.

 

In this role, the Senior Manager will have responsibilities within both the Offer Development Team and the Portfolio Management Team, reporting to the Associate Director of Portfolio & Customer Marketing. This individual will oversee a portion of both Offer Development for Hikma’s generics business product line as well as a portion of Portfolio Management.  This position will be an integral part of team that acts as a bridge between the operational functions of the Generics business and the customer-facing team.  The individual must feel comfortable cross-functionally communicating and working with several different teams.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Portfolio Management

Become a leader on a team that is focused on all the commercial aspects and opportunities of all in-line products, including:

Gathering and maintaining up to date information on sales, market share, etc.

Contributing to discussions regarding the development of lifecycle management plan tactics.

Providing commercial input to cross functional, multidisciplinary teams and contribute to reaching product and launch objectives.

Participating in supply discussions with operations, develop inventory strategies, and communicate product availability information to stakeholders.

Perform regular analyses and provide updates with any changes in dynamics of market conditions and competitive landscapes.

Contribute to portfolio product forecasting for assigned products and constantly review product sustainability for life cycle management and portfolio consolidation/optimization processes.

Contribute and provide input for annual 5-year Business Plan so that all necessary portfolio products are re-forecasted on a regular basis (for budgeting and capacity planning purposes) to ensure accuracy and capture any market changes that could impact project valuation.

Monitor competitive developments and make decisions on how to take action when appropriate.

Ad-hoc projects assigned within scope of portfolio management.

Collaborate cross functionally to assist in achieving Hikma’s near, mid, and long-term portfolio strategy.

Management of direct report(s) that are also part of the Portfolio management/Offer Development team.

 

Offer Development

Implementation of pricing strategies to support the efforts of the company's sales and marketing areas through assessing financial, pricing-related opportunities.

Develop and prepare pricing proposals in response to customer inquiries, request for proposal (RFP) analyses & post-mortems for assigned accounts.

Create and review customer pricing models and tracking detail to address high priority needs that result in improved business performance.

Assist with analyses such as price increases, WAC reductions, MFN, and various other monthly analyses.

Work very closely with the Sales Team and Contracts Team in order to facilitate customer pricing and offers.

Ad-hoc projects assigned within the scope of Offer Development.

Management of direct report(s) that are also part of the Portfolio Management/Offer Development team.

Qualifications:

8-10 years experience required.

4-6 Years of Pharmaceutical experience preferred.

Demonstrate ability to clearly and accurately interpret and communicate procedures and policies.

Extensive experience interacting with other functions, including IT, Business Development, IP, Legal, Marketing, Operations and Sales.

Highly advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.

Experience with IQVIA, FDA Orange Book, Pricing Compendia, CDER, evolving FDA guidelines and regulations.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative & problem-solving skills.

Ability to review and note project management issues, provide recommendations and input on proposed project solutions, and help negotiate issues with internal stakeholders to arrive at the best outcomes for the portfolio and organization.

Ability to synthesize large sets of data to make recommendations for complex decisions.
