As the Sr. Manager, Product Stewardship, you will lead a team of professionals that manage product safety, health and environmental lifecycle risks to provide customers with the best products and services.
You will work a hybrid position located in Cranberry Twp, PA and will report to the Manager, Product Stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement cost-effective, industry best practices for product stewardship that are aligned to the business strategy.Implement management operating processes with the product development, sales, marketing, manufacturing and distribution organizations to maintain compliance with regulations involving safety data sheets, hazard labeling, substance/product registration and reporting, product composition (e.g. VOC) and extended user packaging requirements.Be the product stewardship partner to support the product development, sales, customer service and marketing organizations in meeting their product stewardship expectations.Support the implementation and use of information systems to meet product stewardship regulatory requirements. Identify and lead cross-function teams to solve potential issues or concerns related to product stewardship.Monitor the latest product and substance regulatory requirements and lead efforts to develop and advocate for our position with applicable regulators and other stakeholders.Lead efforts to define the product sustainability strategy (materials of concerns, product certifications, product carbon footprints) and respond to customer inquiries regarding sustainabilityIdentify and manage consultants who provide specialized support in product stewardship and product sustainability.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering or advanced degree.10+ years of progressive experience within a product stewardship function within a relevant industry (chemical formulation manufacturing).Experience with product regulatory compliance and sustainability programs in the United States and Canada.We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K Match, and Paid Time Off.
