The Foot Locker PR & Communications team is looking for a strategic and innovative Sr. Manager, Public Relations to manage external consumer communications efforts. This role requires strong media relations and media landscape knowledge, project management, creativity, and organizational skills, while being able to thrive in a collaborative and matrixed organization.

Responsibilities Lead and support PR efforts for Foot Locker campaigns and product launches, collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver programs against marketing priorities Draft external materials and launch assets, such as press releases, key messaging, spokesperson talking points, and moreSupport future campaign planning to continue telling Foot Locker’s story in a relevant, impactful, and newsworthy mannerProactively identify compelling consumer trends to seize opportunities for culturally relevant, reactive campaignsPropose innovations to PR strategy on an ongoing basis to reach target audience Support PR efforts across banners and serve as liaison with global teams as neededDevelop and maintain relationships with key members of the media across consumer and business landscape, ensuring an earned media mindset is maintainedOversee all news engine efforts and events, ensuring media impression goals are developed and met Partner closely with corporate PR team to ensure cohesive communications Serve as the day-to-day team lead to external PR agency Serve as the day-to-day liaison to cross-functional team members for external communications needs, communicating priorities, needs, and direction Qualifications 6+ years of public relations experience, including 2+ years of agency experience and in-house experienceAbility to work in a deadline driven environment which demands high quality, creativity and consistencyExceptional attention to detail and can manage and implement programs with excellence with support of internal and agency partnersOutstanding organizational skills, highly adept at prioritizing, multi-tasking and time management Excellent communications skills – both verbal and written – with ability to align strategies across various departments and teamsStrong media relations skills and existing relationshipsStrategic thinking capabilities and can develop creative programs independently as neededA genuine interest in strong storytelling Retail experience a plus

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $102000 - $115000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
