Guidewire is seeking an experienced, multilingual PR professional with deep knowledge of the insurance sector to join the Communications team to support operations and agency partners in the U.K., France, and Germany. Working alongside a world-class Communications team and regional subject matter experts, this role will:Day to day...Develop and distribute EMEA-related press releases, from draft through approvals, translations, distribution, and promotionManage the strategic direction and day-to-day activities of PR agency partners in the U.K., France, and Germany, and provide ad hoc PR support for initiatives across EMEAManage the PR budget for the U.K., French, and German PR programsServe as primary owner of EMEA PR content (press releases, news articles, and blogs) on and make regular updatesLead the four-country Guidewire consumer research study in cooperation with regional PR agency partnersServe as a thought partner and Communications team liaison to regional teams including Sales, Alliances, Product Marketing, and Demand GenerationProvide writing and copyediting support as needed in English and French or German, including bylines, media alerts, blogs, messaging, talking points, and narrative storytellingEdit and develop social media post content to ensure relevant and timely topics are promoted in Guidewire’s voiceProvide support for staffing and/or sourcing spokespeople to support analyst and consultancy briefingsSupport attending media and analysts onsite at Guidewire events, as neededWith Sr. Director of Communications and VP Corporate Marketing, serve as regional lead during cyber or other crises, ensuring that cross-functional response and executive teams have support and training and that urgent media/social media opportunities are professionally handledNecessary skills and attributes:Bachelor's degree preferred in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, international relations, or related fields5-7 years experience working as part of a global PR team ideally in a non-HQ location, with direct responsibility for PR agency managementDeep knowledge of insurance industry preferredFluency in English and German or French required, including speaking, reading, and writing.Exceptional, demonstrated writing and copy editing skills - samples requiredStrong, clear communication skills and ability to work across teams, disciplines, cultures, countries, and time zones.Superior attention to detail and ability to manage projects to completion with a high level of autonomyWillingness to travel (domestic and international) occasionally and work after hours during emergency responses are required in the rolePositive, solutions-oriented approach to workPassion for collaboration and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholdersFluency in Google Suite
