As a QMS manager, you will be expected to manage the development, implementation and maintenance of the QMS processes and knowledge of QMS standards; including the handling on communication or interaction with global partners and external customers during audit/visit. He/she also the champion of site quality improvement program toward zero defect mindset.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Manage Quality Management System
Monitor, review and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS and its processesEnsure compliance to standardsContribute to planning and review of QMSCommunicate with global internal customers and external customers
Consult with department leadership on QMS Standards and initiativesPromote awareness of QMS direction and status through global updatesContribute to the promotion and awareness of customer requirementsChampion of Quality Improvement Program
Responsible to identify the area of opportunity to drive continual improvement towards zero defects.Site representative in participating critical network improvement programProvide technical leadership and support
Maintain knowledge of QMS standards, methods, and toolsProvide support to internal functions on the application, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems and department-specific processesMaintain knowledge of Project Management and toolsDeliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and controlManage and develop the team
Establish goals and conduct performance appraisals; coach and provide career development to QMS and PCS teamIdentify strengths and create specific development plansProvide guidance or mentoring to team member as necessaryProvide recognition and drive accountability
Promote teamwork and resolve conflictTimely recognize good effort and promote continual improvementRequirement & Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent Knowledgeable in IATF16949 and ISO9001 requirementsAt least 10 years experience in semiconductor industry and in managerial role.Familiar with AIAG 5 core tools; especially in SPC - preferable to be experienced in statistical controlProven ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirementsExcellent organizational and management skills and outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skillsAbout Micron Technology, Inc.
