The Sr. Manager, SaaS Consulting, (Pillar Lead), is responsible for designing and implementing Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud products and solutions, working as a trust advisor to our public-sector clients. This role also participates in business development activities to include identifying opportunities with new and existing customers.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Design Oracle EPM solutions for our clients to include documenting requirements and specifications, developing strategies to solve complex technical challenges.Communicate proactively and independently with the client with documentation to guide discussions, to clarify requirements and provide training and support.Build application processes, configure components, develop reporting and delegate tasks to build team members.Provide mentoring and coaching to technical consultants and business analysts involved in implementations.Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients to include financial and profitability requirements of engagements.Participate in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities with new and existing clients and follow-on work with current engagements.Assist in the management and delivering of large projects, supporting the project manager through effective communication of tasks and issue identification and escalation. On select engagements, may be asked to act as project manager.Prepare and deliver project status reports, to include updating project plan with completed tasks.Contribute to the development of own and team’s technical acumen.Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree a plus, or equivalent experience.10 – 15 years’ work experience with 7+ years of experience implementing Oracle EPM Cloud products.10+ years of experience with financial processes such as planning, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial consolidations.Must be a US Citizen or greencard holder.Experience managing a project team through at least one full cycle implementation engagement.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSAs)
Ability to demonstrate expertise in one or more EPM technologies and Cloud.Ability to interpret requirements into system design, be an effective troubleshooter and evaluate the proper solution for a particular client need.Ability to demonstrate effective management skills for client engagements to include cross-team collaboration.Ability to articulate financial close concepts and describe the components of standard financial statements and key calculations.Ability to engage clients in thoughtful dialog to elicit requirements and to break down abstract concepts into components.Ability to creatively and resourcefully problem-solve both independently and with a team.Ability to effectively communicate with and present to executive-level clients and describe complex processes to audiences with varying skill levels.Ability to articulate key project management concepts.Ability to lead, mentor and motivate others in a team environment.Accountability and personal driveExcellent written skills.Ability to understand contracts and adhere to statements of work.Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.Ability to work effectively in a telecommuting environment with client travel, up to 100% during peak activities and deadlines, but typically averaging between 30% to 50% over the course of a year.
