This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for the State of Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated sales leader to join our Mid-Market Business Development sales team. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Mid-Market Sales, this role is responsible for leading and developing a team of remote sales representatives to achieve revenue targets and drive growth for the company. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with experience in managing and mentoring sales teams, building and implementing sales processes, and achieving sales goals. We are looking for an individual that is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successful sales management and team leadership, that has exceeded sales targets in a SaaS-based business sales environment. 

Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, setting clear individual and team sales goals, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to drive performance and growth, while always looking for ways to eliminate barriers to achieving successDevelop and implement sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, discovery methods, closing techniques that will ensure consistent and effective sales practices across the teamCollaborate with marketing and other key sales supporting departments to develop and execute targeted demand generation campaigns that drive pipeline growth and support the Business Development Team in exceeding their sales targets Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas of improvement, and make data driven decisions to optimize sales strategies, processes, and outcomesBe a product expert, and work closely with the product team to stay current on product offerings and market trends, and effectively communicate product value to prospective customers Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including potential customer accounts, partners, and industry influencersCommunicate regularly with the executive leadership team to provide updates on sales performance, forecasting, and market trends Oversee the creation and execution of sales outreach to promote trade shows and industry events, while also representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and other relevant gatherings (travel may be required)Ensure sales team consistently carries the appropriate sales pipeline coverage to achieve annual sales targetsEnsure consistent and most optimal use of CRM and the available sales technology stack for sales teamWork with the Sales Development team to optimize the lead generation and hand off process from the SDR team to the BD sales team Work with the Client Development sales leader to efficiently and effectively transfer account ownership to ensure an optimal customer experience post sale Qualifications: 5+ years prior experience in sales management with an exceptional track record of exceeding sales team targets Experience in Payments, Incentives, Loyalty, and/or any sort of Financial Technology business is a plusExperience in negotiating and closing SaaS deal sizes of at least USD 10k/year in terms of annual contract value (ACV) and sales cycles of 1-6 monthsMust possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can liaise effectively with senior stakeholdersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsCollege degree is preferred Benefits:

OTE for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota): $215,000-$250,000.
