Sr. Manager, Security Services, anti-DDoS
In this role, you will build and lead a specialized team focused on proactively identifying and mitigating emerging cyber threats across the AWS. You own building a "deception overlay" across AWS, essentially a web of traps and false information that increases complexity and risk for malicious actors targeting AWS and its customers. Using this deception overlay, your team will collect first-party intelligence on threat actor behaviors, tools, and techniques. By continually taking mitigation actions using this intelligence and other AWS data sources, your team is responsible for instilling wrong assumptions in adversaries during their reconnaissance and intrusion activities, and reducing their success rate. You will work cross-functionally to integrate the deception overlay and the derived threat intelligence into AWS security services, like GuardDuty and Network Firewall.

Your team will be on the frontlines, using its unique view of the threat landscape to uncover new attack patterns and rapidly scale mitigations globally. Your team shares threat intelligence with partner organization through AWS's established threat intelligence exchange channels to disrupt malicious operations targeting AWS, its customers and the internet at large. Your deception-based intelligence and automated mitigation mechanisms across AWS networks protect customers from behind the scenes, and force adversaries to reconsider the viability of AWS as a target or a tool to abuse against other targets. You deliver abuse disruption mechanisms that make AWS the least attractive place for threat actors and their malicious activities. You move threat mitigation beyond the AWS perimeter where feasible to disrupt threats at source through private and public sector partnerships. Based on what adversaries are doing, you will help drive product strategy for the org.
