Key Leadership ResponsibilitiesIGT is seeking a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering to join our Las Vegas Studio, a newly established game development studio dedicated to developing groundbreaking gaming experiences. This role will lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality slot games, ensuring seamless integration across all aspects of the game development process. Overseeing the full software lifecycle, from initial concept and technical design to final implementation, this position will drive innovation and maintain best practices in development. Collaborating closely with artists, designers, and other stakeholders, the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering will play a key role in shaping the studio’s success by managing project roadmaps, optimizing workflows, and delivering industry-leading gaming products.
Align with senior leadership to set long-term goals and strategies for the software engineering team. Streamline workflows by identifying inefficiencies and implementing tools or processes for improvement. Ensure effective communication between teams, acting as a key liaison for cross-departmental projects. Incorporate industry trends and advancements to keep the team at the forefront of gaming innovation. Deliver actionable feedback during reviews, recognizing successes and identifying areas for growth. Represent the team in executive discussions, providing insights on progress, challenges, and solutions. Oversee project evaluations, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for improvement. Enhance engineering workflows by driving in-house tool development for efficiency and quality. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred. 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in leadership roles. Proven success in delivering end-to-end software projects, especially in fast-paced settings. Knowledge of IGT’s gaming market, products, and competitive landscape. Experience with 2D/3D graphics programming and game development pipelines. Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, driving innovative processes. Forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to drive innovation and challenge norms. Core Strengths and Attributes

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $86,538/yr - $220,000/yr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
