We specialize in conducting formal Failure Analysis (FA) on customer-returned materials, working with multi-functional teams to pinpoint root causes and promote continuous improvement. Our mission is to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction through in-depth analysis and effective problem resolution. **Position Overview:** We are seeking a Senior Manager, SSD RMA to lead and manage a high-performing team responsible for Failure Analysis (FA) of SSD customer returns. In this role, you will oversee technical investigations, collaborate with internal and external teams, and drive continuous improvements in quality and reliability. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations. **Responsibilities** **:** + Lead and manage a team performing electrical and mechanical verification FA on SSD customer returns. + Support department goals by tracking critical metrics and customer turnaround time. + Handle customer issues for RMA cases with internal teams and provide FA reports to external customers. + Maintain and develop FA capabilities, ensuring the setup and maintenance of debug systems for DOE and error duplication. + Serve as the SSD interface for external customer-facing teams, providing data analysis and technical consultation. **Minimum Qualifications** **:** + Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. + 5+ years of experience in a technical and people leadership role. + Experience in system/firmware engineering, product engineering, quality, and customer engineering. + Strong understanding of NAND flash memory functions and SSD storage architecture. + Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in the storage industry and direct customer interface. + Competency in failure analysis and system testing methodologies. + Knowledge of computer hardware interfaces such as PCIe, SATA, and Bus Tracer. + Programming experience is a plus. + Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed. **Location:** Longmont, CO (Relocation available) The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $144,000.00 - $252,000.00 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
