The Senior Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our supply chain strategy to ensure effective and efficient management, integration and continuous improvement of Supply Chain management processes and technologies from vendors through to customers and joint venture partners. This position is part of the Operations department located in Pensacola, FL, and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery. What you will do: + Effectively manage direct reports (supply chain planners/buyers) to create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products and collaborate with all production departments to generate level-loaded production plans to meet customer takt and pastdue recovery. + Responsible for Vendor Management and Critical Raw Material Single Source Exposure, Manage supplier performance metrics, provide performance feedback, and work with suppliers through production forecasts and/or changes. + Develop and drive 3-5 year view of site strategic improvements for Supply Chain / Materials initiatives. Lead and facilitate kaizen teams through process improvements (eg. Kanban, heijunka) using lean continuous improvement concepts (Danaher Business System / Danaher Materials System). + Responsible to reduce inventory value and maintain healthy stock levels as per Supermarket Models. Ensure cycle counts are completed on time, with high accuracy, and implement supply chain initiatives to improve inventory turns, stocking strategies, and reduce lead times in accordance with business objectives. Ensure warehouse management is maintained in FIFO system with necessary visual and physical controls and maintained in immaculate condition with 5S usage. + Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supply chain performance (OTD%, $PDBL, $inventory, Inventory Turns), identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Assure all visual factory / Daily Management boards are updated on time with accuracy. + Mentor, coach, and develop supply chain team members to build a high-performing and collaborative workforce. Ensure supply chain organisation is developed through development of organisation design and succession planning. + Perform other duties as assigned. Who you are: + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields with minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management (including warehouse management), preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry + Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing supply chain initiatives to drive operational excellence and cost savings. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. + Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders. + Proficient computer skills in handling spreadsheets, presentations, and new systems. Experience utilizing Enterprise resource planning ERP software – SAP preferred. Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus. + To work safely and to align with the company’s health, safety and environmental (EHS) policies and procedures, while leading various safety improvement projects towards OSHA PSM certification. + Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and procedures, ISO9000 and other regulatory requirements and how they impact manufacturing. Extra + Supply chain management of products and processes with knowledge and ability to apply standards and codes published by such authorities as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements preferred + Proficiency executing/implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Ishikawa Diagrams, optimization, and other systematic tools.
