Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Senior Content Design Manager to lead and mentor a team of senior and junior content designers. In this pivotal role, you will drive the content design strategy, ensuring cohesive and user-centered experiences across our products. Your leadership will be instrumental in planning, organizing, and executing product design projects that align with business objectives and enhance user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of content designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitating professional growth and skill development.Strategic Planning & Execution:Develop and implement comprehensive content design strategies that align with PayPal's business goals and user needs.Oversee the end-to-end content creation process, ensuring consistency, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership:Work closely with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create seamless and intuitive user experiences.Advocate for content design best practices and user-centered design principles across the organization.Process Improvement & Innovation:Establish and refine content design processes, tools, and standards to enhance efficiency and quality.Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in content design.Hiring & Talent Development:Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent in content design.Develop onboarding programs and training initiatives to ensure team members are well-equipped to excel in their roles.

Qualifications:

Experience:Minimum of 8 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or related fields.At least 4 years in a leadership role, managing and developing product content design teams.Skills:Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive user engagement and meet business objectives.Strong understanding of user experience principles, information architecture, and content management systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.Education:Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Design, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

$107300 to $259600
