Sr. Manager Accounting

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

Ensure the organization maintains accurate and compliant financial records, documentation, policies and practices while complying with the requirement of the Group Financial Manual and local GAAPs. Secures financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing & reporting. Supervising staff. Make business decisions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Financial reporting:  prepare and analyze financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on monthly, quarterly & annual basis, accurate & timely. IFRS / Local GAAPs.

 

Regulatory compliance: ensure the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements. Evaluate financial transactions to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 

 

Auditing:  Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls. Also assist & coordinate audits conducted by external auditors.

 

Financial analysis: Monitor and analyze financial accounting data. Accounts reconciliations & accounts payables are done by GBS and Accounting Hub located abroad. Be responsible for their performance assuring accurate and timely reconciliation / payments and analysis. Verifies accuracy of data and data processing of accounting related information

 

Processes: Plan and manage accounting processes & procedures

 

Projects: participate in business projects affecting accounting and tax rules, providing recommendations to business stakeholders

 

People: Provides training to workers on accounting systems, principles and practices. Mentor and develop his/her own staff while fostering a positive team environment.

Global, GBS & Region Auditors FLM (Sr Company Directors)

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

 

English speaker Technical knowledge Local GAAPs / IFRS General knowledge of taxes Broad & deep knowledge in own functional area, combining theoretical and practical knowledge Ability to mentor and develop staff Forster a positive team environment Highly analytical, result driven Accurately under tight deadlines

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

5 years of relevant work experience preferable in  the accounting fields
