As a Senior Manager in the Compute Product Engineering organization you will lead the Design Readiness product teams and subject matter experts that ensure designs are ready to launch on time. These teams will use their technical expertise to maintain accountable for the circuit debug, design issue resolution and technical direction for our DRAM products. You will be expected to help build and lead high performing, engaged teams that feel supported and empowered and are playing to win! Develop deep partnerships with Design, Verification, Product Architecture, Customer Enablement and Silicon Strategy teams to deliver products effectively and efficiently.
Position Responsiblities:
Coordinate closely with Product Leadership Team to ensure design readiness is fully represented in overall product leadership approach, and strategies are aligned to delivering to the product objectives/timelines.
Design Readiness teams will begin engaging well-ahead of silicon arriving as they are responsible for majority of the pre-silicon preparation within Product Engineering.
Resolution of all silicon findings in accordance with issue closure timeline expectations.
Constant collaboration with component validation, module validation and characterization peer groups (also within the larger Design Readiness team)
Identify and lead continuous improvement efforts for design readiness to ensure fast implementation of lessons learned.
Establish product support roadmaps and strategies to ensure full portfolio is covered, including assertive hiring to ensure readiness ahead of need.
Optimize group performance and structure through metrics and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
10+ years of relevant technical and leadership experience
A record of performance and leadership excellence for current/previous areas of responsibility.
Validated capability dealing with complex issues with an ability to apply resources effectively.
Viewed by current team as an excellent mentor, team builder and motivator.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems across multi-functional groups, both within and outside the department.
Extensive experience delegating tasks and setting priorities in a team environment.
Experience successfully leading multi-functional teams to a common deliverable.
Experience working with multi-functional teams across multiple sites.
