SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager Finance – Co-Man is the leader of the Co-Man Finance function for Tyson Prepared Foods. Key business partners include Contract Manufacturing, Operations, BU Finance and Supply Chain Finance. Responsibilities include managing a team of 5, managing the costing of all SKUs produced by our co-manufacturing partners, forecasting cost changes, assisting in the development and tracking of co-manufacturing savings projects, managing the accrual and AP process associated with $20MM+ in annual non PO related charges and daily/weekly/monthly reporting of results and KPIs. In addition, the Sr Manager will work closely with Co-Manufacturing & BU leadership in evaluating and maintaining cost effective relationships with our manufacturing partners.

 

Candidates should have experience managing large processes and exhibit a talent for streamlining them. Must be able to identify key trends and issues for decision making. Successful candidates will have an ability to summarize and explain large volumes of data, troubleshoot, make corrective actions, and effectively communicate to business partners and finance leadership. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and system skills. Must possess strong prioritization, organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. MBA preferred

Experience: 7+ plus years of experience in Finance, previous CPG experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and systems skills. Experienced people leader. Must possess the ability to streamline internal processes along with having strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills required, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders

Computer Skills: Strong excel based skills required including experience with successfully working with large data sets. Experience with SAP Financial applications a plus.

Special Skills: Poultry or Prepared Plant Operations

Special Skills: MBA or CPA a plus

Supervisory: Experienced people leader
