Sr. Manager Investigations APAC, WHS Global Road Safety
Amazon.com
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate self-starter to lead the APAC Global Road Safety Investigations organization for Japan, India, Singapore and Australia. This role will be focused on ensuring the most accurate, timely and insightful incident data to enable Amazon to safely execute transportation operations. Additionally, this role will ensure the organization exceeds its safety objectives through collecting, analyzing, and assessing information. Amazon is constantly innovating and our operations must evolve with the business to ensure we maintain the highest safety standards for our Associates, third party transportation providers, and the general public.
You will manage a team of program managers who build audit/inspection protocols for our businesses, create metrics to evaluate risk control effectiveness, support qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, and knowledge of risk remediation/mitigation/control processes is strongly preferred. This role requires scoping large projects, managing project timelines, identifying safety gaps, and communicating to senior management on safety risks. Cross-team coordination, project management, executive presentation skills, a penchant for process improvement, and a proven history of delivering results are essential for success. A bias for action and comfort in dealing with ambiguity are a must. Often times it will not be clear how we will reach our end goal; you will be expected to help carve a path by taking risks and be willing to try new things, fail fast then iterate. Strong analytics and safety experience will be valued in an applicant.
