We are looking for a talented MS SQL Database Administrator with experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our MS SQL databases hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related projects and initiatives.
What you need to have:
Install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server databases on AWS.Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning measures.Design and implement database backup and recovery strategies in AWS.Ensure the security of the database by implementing access controls and encryption.Collaborate with application developers to optimize database queries and improve application performance.Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions.Conduct regular database maintenance tasks, including updates and patches.Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to MS SQL Server and AWS
