Sr. Manager of Clinical Learning, DVM National Veterinary Associates

As a key member of the clinical learning team, the Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of educational programs tailored to general practice veterinary teams. This fully remote position, with up to 30% travel, ensures that all educational initiatives are in alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory standards, and the best practices in veterinary medicine. The Senior Manager collaborates closely with clinical teams and operational leaders to identify training needs, develop comprehensive curricula, and implement effective learning strategies to enhance clinical competencies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development: Expertly design, implement, and oversee clinical education programs, including e-learning, workshops, and simulations. Proficient in general practice SOPs and standards of care, with a deep understanding of the clinical and leadership continuing education (CE) process. Skilled in vetting educational resources and knowledgeable about AAHA accreditation, DEA, and OSHA compliance processes. Team Leadership: Cultivate strong relationships with hospital teams and field leadership. Lead by example with a strong work ethic, patience, and warm professionalism. Passionate about sharing expertise through effective coaching and mentoring. Platform Skills: Experienced and confident public speaker, excelling in both virtual and in-person presentations and facilitation. Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to seamlessly integrate clinical education into broader organizational initiatives. Curriculum Design: Develop and continually update educational content to align with current best practices and regulatory requirements. Quality Assurance: Ensure training programs adhere to accreditation standards and drive improvements in patient care outcomes. Needs Assessment: Partner with clinical and operations leaders to identify training needs and assess the effectiveness of current educational programs. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the impact of educational programs on clinical performance and patient care, using data to inform continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Licensed in Illinois, or willing and able to obtain one, is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills Experience in clinical education, teaching, presentation, and facilitation a plus Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning principles preferred
