**Position Brand Description:**
The IAPI (Indianapolis Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Plant Engineering Sr. Manager is responsible for leading the plant engineers and technicians in support of daily manufacturing operations. The scope of responsibility includes the productivity and development of employees with the purpose of ensuring the facility systems used to support API manufacturing are compliant, reliable, and efficient. The Plant Engineering Sr. Manager partners within the Engineering organization and across functional disciplines to influence and implement Quality, Health, Safety & Environment compliance, site business priorities and the Engineering technical agenda.
**Key Objectives/Deliverables:**
+ Satisfy all administrative and supervisory requirements, including coaching, performance management, development, and succession planning for the team.
+ Ensure resources are managed appropriately to meet site objectives with emphasis on Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental compliance, manufacturing capacity, and financial stewardship.
+ Develop and standardize current processes and practices for Plant Engineers, ensures alignment with the Manufacturing Standards of Operational Excellence (MSOE), and champions continuous improvements to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
+ Provide strategic direction for the IAPI Plant Engineering Team.
**Basic Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering
+ Previous technical support experience in manufacturing

**Other Information:**
+ This position serves an 8-hour Monday through Friday work schedule while requiring some off-schedule work, both on-site and off-site with less than 10% travel on an annual basis.
+ 24 hour availability via mobile communication device is required.
+ Tasks require entering manufacturing and laboratory areas which require wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$96,000 - $140,800
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
