Sr. Manager - Scrum Master Aerospace ERP Transformation

Eaton’s Corporate Sector is hiring a Sr. Manager - Scrum Master Aerospace ERP Transformation. Location is preferably Beachwood, OH or other Eaton locations within the US are also available. This position requires 25% travel.

What you’ll do:

Job Summary
As the Sr. Manager - Scrum Master Aerospace ERP Transformation you will manage the PMO for the Aerospace EAST Transformation Program and oversee program financials, scope and requirements management, and the master schedule. You will report to the VP, IT - ERP Transformation, Aerospace.


You will guide product and IT teams as a servant leader, ensuring adherence to Agile practices and Scrum framework values. The focus will be on enhancing team efficiency and providing motivation and guidance for process improvement. Additionally, there will be a commitment to ERP governance and change control, with integration of critical waterfall milestones into the program plan.


All Scrum events will be facilitated to ensure they are positive, productive, and time-bound. You will also work to eliminate team impediments and roadblocks, leading overall program delivery.
Collaboration with Product Owners, architects, specialists, developers, and other team members is essential for executing the product roadmap, guiding the product development lifecycle, creating user stories, and managing the product backlog.
 

Essential Responsibilities:
- Manager of people program leadership role, which currently includes 3 PMs as direct reports.
- Leads PMO for Aero EAST program, which primary directive includes SAP ERP Transformation Program for Eaton Aerospace division.
- Accountable for all Agile ceremonies of a Scrum team including planning, review, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Accountable for Waterfall phase elements of ERP delivery including overall Design, Build, Test, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare.
- Drive vendor/partner strategy and facilitate development and execution of partner engagements that align and support program goals & objectives and planned budgets.
- Drive a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle.
- Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
- Assists the Product Owner with roadmapping, epic creation and decomposition, and multi-sprint planning
- Support the estimation and prioritization of user stories.
- Support the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with other Agile teams to ensure alignment and management of dependencies.
- Leads the capacity planning for each sprint.
- Communicates risks, status and general updates to stakeholders.
- Manage one or more Scrum teams across multiple geographies.

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
•    Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience.
•    Manager of people experience.
•    Experience with an ERP implementation, SAP preferred.
•    Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Master's degree from an accredited institution.

•    PMP certified.

•    Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams.

•   Experience with CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification)

 

Skills:

Technical knowledge
-Expert  understanding of product management and modern product delivery processes
- Deep/Comprehenisve experience working with Agile, including Scrum or Kanban
- Expert level experience with Agile software tools and producing Agile artifacts
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles
- Strong familiarity with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
- Strong experience in leading ERP projects
- Strong fundamental understanding of enterprise end to end business processes across primary workstreams including finance, quote to cash, req to check, and plan to produce.
- Experience in ERP change management and governance processes
- Experience in managing program financials and related CARs including forecast and actual spend mangagement.

Soft skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Patience and empathy working with mentees and people new to Agile and/or ERP
- Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Effective listening skills with the intention of understanding

The expected annual salary range for this role is $153749.97 - $225499.96 a year.  This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
