Job DescriptionRole Summary:This is a people leader role but with strong technical background and ability to do hands on project work. The successful candidate is expected to -lead a team of talented individuals working on the  Energy Markets domain.Closely work with global stake holders including manager/SMEs from different regions to make sure that the team is effectively utilized.Identify and respond to professional growth needs for all team members and ensure they have the proper training to execute team deliverables.Foster a work culture at all levels that is positive, collaborative, respectful, innovative, dynamic, with high integrity, and capable of driving positive change over sustained periods of time.Contribute towards technical aspects in the areas of expertise.Provide support in hiring the right talent in accordance with the global requirements.Continually work towards increasing the team impact on business  Qualifications / RequirementsMaster's / Doctorate degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) or equivalent.12 + years of experience in Power System Domain and software development experience preferably in Java Should have software testing background for applications in the T&D domain.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to make formal and informal presentation to technical and non-technical staff and customers. Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.Having hands on experience with software development for energy  exchange / Markets applications would be preferred.  Desired CharacteristicsBusiness Acumen:Ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.Ability to understand the role of Markets   and requirements form customers in the different regions.  Leadership:Experience providing feedback on performance toward goalsAbility to proactively identify and remove obstacles or barriers on behalf of the teamAbility to take ownership of projects and deliver while mentoring and helping team. Personal Attributes:Strong analytical and organizational skillsStrong oral and written communication skills
