What you will Impact:
Process Improvement and EfficiencyUnderstand, maintain, and continually improve manufacturing/assembly processes as related to safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery.Develop new and maintain existing facility/manufacturing layouts.Lead assembly automation projects from concept to deployment.Establish the case for and procure capital equipment/tooling for new and existing manufacturing processes.Collaboration and SupportCollaborate with operations team and be the process expert to coach/train employees on critical manufacturing processes.Work with operations team to develop capacity and contingency plans for the division.Support divisional and company programs such as, Employee Involvement program.Work closely with all engineering disciplines to ensure new product manufacturing processes are executed with employee safety, customer quality, efficiency, and on time delivery as critical considerations.Safety and ComplianceCollaborate with production personnel and management to effectively support safety related initiatives.Understand & ensure compliance of government regulations as related to the business.Take ownership of understanding, maintaining, and continually enhancing manufacturing/assembly processes in relation to safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery.What you need to do to be successful in this role:
