Sr. Manufacturing Supervisor

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Prints and/or reviews the list of work orders (dispatch list), analyzes it and determines the personnel, materials and time requirements. Checks the condition of the equipment and machinery, addressing any anomaly, either personally or through the Equipment Maintenance Area. Ensures that the necessary material is located on the production line in the appropriate places and addresses any anomaly that occurs in the delivery of material. Verifies that the finished work orders (from the day or a previous day), are complete or partial, are packed, approved by Quality Assurance, and captured in the system to be sent to shipping or Raw Material Warehouse. Directly supervises the work of the Operators in each section of the line such as: quality of work, monitoring of assembly procedure (AP) and testing procedure (TP), monitoring of manufacturing order, equipment verification, filling out reports, correct interpretation of work orders, etc. Meets the needs of the production line in terms of basic materials, supplies, preventive and corrective maintenance of the equipment, in coordination with the Materials Department and Equipment Maintenance Area. Coordinates with the Materials Department (production scheduling) for the timely issuance of work orders. Manages employee timecards through the electronic time system for payroll payment. Actively participates with Manufacturing Engineering in the analysis of the processes in their area to make them more efficient and ensure product quality. Ensures compliance with procedures, standards and specifications established in the quality management system related to their position. Maintains a safe work environment in their department, through the prevention and care of work-related accidents and diseases and ensures that their staff is properly trained in safety, hygiene and environmental issues.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering. +4 years’ relevant experience in similar positions Microsoft Excel functions including vlookups, pivot tables, etc. Experience in personnel management. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Basics in project management. Knowledge of problem-solving tools. Flexible hours. English is highly desirable.
  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Experience in manual assembly processes, manufacturing (CNC machines, lathes, metal passivation), 100% focus on Safety as priority #1, bilingual, knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferably), data driven, budget management, teamwork, and previous exposure to product transfer processes.
