We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Marketing Event Planner to join our team. As a Sr. Marketing Events planner, you will be responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events, both internal and client facing, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional experiences.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and effective communicator with 3-5 years of experience managing a diverse range of successful events and a proven track record of delivering outstanding results.

Location: Carmel, IN office (hybrid)

Responsibilities include:

Plan, organize, and execute various events, including client conferences, large trade shows, internal conferences and sales recognition events

Engage and collaborate with internal partners to plan and execute regional or customer-specific events according to the event objectives and requirements

Act as the primary liaison and communicator between the company, external event coordinators and vendors, delivering concise updates and action plans to keep internal stakeholders informed and aligned on upcoming events.

Oversee bookings for banquet, entertainment, and catering services, hotel rooms, venues, and other event-related spaces 

Maintain vendor relationships, such as decorators, A/V teams, booth constructors, apparel and swag partners, and more, from procurement to execution and payment processing

Create and manage detailed event timelines, ensuring all elements are executed as planned

Manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness / ROI

Provide leadership and direction to event staff, including coordinators and support personnel

Participate in industry events and seminars, staying informed on current trends and best practices in event planning

Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years experience in event planning

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Events Management or other relevant fields is a plus

Proven experience in managing both large-scale conferences and intimate events

Budget management and financial acumen

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organization and problem-solving skills

Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced and busy environment

Familiarity with event planning software and tools

Creativity and problem-solving skills to enhance the overall event experience

Requirements

Must be willing to travel 20% - 40% of the time for site inspections and on-site event management.

A valid passport is required for international events.
