We have an amazing opportunity to expand our team with this key role, where you will tackle complex marketing questions, drive efficiencies and innovation and help us improve the scale and impact of our tech stack. We are looking for a person who loves data, thrives on analysis/insights and thinks critically when it comes to continually improving marketing targeting and strategy. You will work closely with teams across the enterprise, ranging from Go-To-Marketing sales and marketing teams to IT and operations teams. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and responsibilities shift with the business. Splunk is a fast-growing company with a passion for building the best technology and having fun along the way.Responsibilities:As a Sr. Marketing Operations/Technology Specialist on the Marketing Operations Team, you will have the opportunity to drive a wide range of projects, including:Supporting critical global processes for our marketing/sales teams; data acquisition and enrichment, help ticket support, routing updates and technology management/administrationSupport marketing reporting and analytics engineering teams with SQL queries, data pulls, and Tableau dashboard QASupport our external agency and internal teams in building contact lists for email campaigns, outbound call prospecting and event invitations, using both contact and account dimensionsContinually look for ways to automate, optimize and simplify campaign execution, from distilling and documenting requirements, coding, QC/UAT and file output automationSupport data discovery, research, troubleshooting and recommendations based on the evolving needs of marketing partners and your knowledge of the data availableDevelop and implement segmentation logic that aligns the right communication, at the right time, based on customer behavior, actions, and journey stageDrive QC processes, including test-case development, QC execution, user-acceptance testing hand-off to business partners and code remediationRequirements:2+ years experience with SQL queries and knowledge of database technologies and PythonSolid understanding of modern B2B marketing, ideally familiar with concepts such as lead management, nurturing, demand waterfalls, martech, and governance.Highly skilled at time-management, is detail oriented and has high standards for project deliverySelf-starter who is passionate and curious for solving unstructured data problems and ability to manipulate and optimize large data setsProcess orientated, highly organized, excels at multitasking, strong documentation, coordination and project management skillsStrong communication and problem solving skills and an ability to convey technical concepts to less technical team membersConfidence to offer consultation to business partners and team members within Sales, Partner, Marketing OperationsA familiarity working with AGILE/SCRUM process managementBonus: working with dashboards in Tableau or with Snowflake/dbtEducation:B.A. in Marketing, Technology, or related field, or equivalent years of industry experience. Splunk is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Splunk, we believe creating a culture of belonging isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s also the smart thing. Base Pay Range

Costa Rica

Base Pay: CRC 20,000,000.00 - 27,500,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
