Sr. Marketing Strategy Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic Sr. Manager of Marketing Strategy to join our team! This role will lead a collaborative, cross-functional process to refine our brand and channel strategy as part of the long-range and annual planning processes. You will also provide strategic guidance to our sales and marketing teams, helping them build and execute growth plans that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Brand, Category, & Channel Strategy Development:
Collaborate with teams across sales, marketing, digital, and finance to create powerful brand strategies founded on a deep understanding of our consumers, pros, and customers. You will manage the process of market segmentation, target segment prioritization, identification of need states, and brand and product strategy development.

Set Strategic Goals and Objectives:
Lead the development of clear, actionable objectives and goals for our key strategies. Collaborate with leaders to define time-bound strategies, tactics, and measures in support of attaining our goals. Develop clear communication materials to ensure enterprise-wide alignment and understanding of objectives and goals. Support tracking of select key performance indicators to accelerate the business impact of implementing brand and channel strategies.

Own Branding Guidelines & Target Segment Profiles:
Develop and communicate key brand guidelines, including positioning, right-to-win statements, pricing strategy, identity, voice, and style guide.
Build and communicate key strategy implementation guidelines, including target segment insights, personas, and channel/product placement plans. Your guidance will help our marketing, sales, and digital teams bring these guidelines to life in their go-to-market strategies.

Act as the Inter-Company Brand Liaison:
Be the primary point of contact as the Brand Liaison with other Masco business units for shared national brands and with customers for private label brands. You will ensure our brand guidelines are always up-to-date and accessible to the Liberty team.

Support Long-Range Planning & Annual Operating Plans:
Play a key role in developing our long-range strategic plan by assisting with the situation assessment, competitive analysis, business segment analysis, opportunity identification, and strategy development. Support the development of marketing investment budgets to support the annual operating process across categories and channels. Curate market intelligence to support annual and quarterly business performance management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field

MBA preferred

7+ years of experience in marketing, strategy management, or a related field

Proven ability to synthesize data into actionable insights

Experience developing brand and channel strategies

Experience translating market research and industry knowledge into strategies that drive results

Financial and market modeling experience is a plus

Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional teams at all levels

Strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth

Ability to build trust-based relationships within teams
