Sr. Material Handler
Organize and monitor the receiving, put-away, and replenishments of finished product within the warehouse using the warehouse management system (WMS). Provide daily direction and communication to Material Handlers. Operate material handling equipment (MHE) to move and store product. Communicate via phone and e-mail with both internal and external contacts.

Monitor Warehouse Management System to provide work assignments to material handlers, adjusting as neededGive direction to new Material Handlers, providing guidance where neededAssist MH with system issues such as Inventory Discrepancies, Location/Product inquiries and communicating these issues to Warehouse Supervisor as neededAssist Shipping and other departments with inventory and other material needsWork closely with Inventory Control, assuring inventory movement is done in an accurate mannerEnsure the exact quantity and product is correct with any inventory movement to guarantee tight inventory controlParticipate in continuous improvement projectsConduct activities in a manner that promotes safetyMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work areaAssist in other Operations areas as neededAssist in physical inventories cycle countsBack-up supervisor as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh school graduate or equivalent required

Base Pay Range:

$21.11 - $31.68

Vera Bradley’s compensation ranges are based on market data and comply with all local, state and federal regulations. Individual pay within the listed range depends on work location, skills, experience, and relevant education. The posted salary reflects base pay only and excludes bonuses, equity, or other incentives, if applicable.
