Job Description
Join a dynamic and growing manufacturer as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. We seek a creative, self-motivated professional with a strong background in mechanical and structural engineering. Ideally, you should have at least 4 years of experience in mechanical systems design.
ResponsibilitiesDesign detailed recycling system equipment and structural components in collaboration with sales and engineering teams.Produce engineering drawings for manufacturing, field installation, and documentation purposes.Specify components and generate Bills of Materials (BOMs).Utilize ERP software and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely and accurate delivery of components.Oversee projects through the manufacturing process on the production floor.Document and share standardized procedures and best practices with the team.Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency in engineering and manufacturing workflows.Identify cost-saving opportunities and build strong relationships with suppliers.Contribute to a high-performance, quality-focused, and continuously improving work culture.Essential SkillsProficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBackground in design or electrical engineering is a plus.Experience with material handling equipment is advantageous.Familiarity with ERP systems.Understanding of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal bending, punching, and welding.Experience designing recycling equipment and conveyors is a plus.Ability to synthesize mechanical component requirements.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr.
