You will be responsible for providing comprehensive system design, calculations, and related services, ensuring seamless coordination with architectural and engineering trades, both internally and externally. You'll take ownership of your work's accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, showcasing your ability to handle complex projects alongside a technical team. In this hybrid role, combining remote work with in-office collaboration, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and explore all that you can achieve within our global company. We’re partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates. When you join us, you’ll be responsible for the following: * Assists in determining project schedules, manpower requirements, and budgets * Survey existing conditions for renovation projects * Prepares drawings detailing the system designed, including supervision of junior staff and HVAC designers. * Develops basic HVAC calculations: e.g., cooling load calculations, fan and pump pressure calculations. * Selects HVAC equipment * Prepares energy compliance calculations and forms * Coordinates work with engineers of other disciplines and architects * Performs construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports * Assists in processing contractor requests for information and change orders By joining Jacobs, you’ll commit to supporting and engaging with these teams, as we work to build a company like no other. * Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering * Professional Engineer (PE) licensure * 20+ experience with solid technical background including experience designing HVAC systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing, data centers, laboratories, or research centers Ideally, you'll also have: * Experience working in a consulting engineering environment This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. #LI-KD1 Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
