Senior SRGM Manager, Customer Investment & Planning
Role Overview: This position will play a crucial role in aligning in-depth expertise of the SRGM levers with deep commercial experience, translating how each SRGM lever individually and in aggregate supports different BU’s and Channels/Customer teams to help them achieve their business goals focused on delivering our Net Sales, EBITA and Share Goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• SRGM Analytics: Utilize D&A resources to create a long-term advantage by accelerating the growth and value of our organization through focusing on the SRGM pillars of PPA, Promo Optimization, Channel Mix, T&C’s & Innovation.
• SRGM Deployment: Lead and execute SRGM initiatives by understanding customer landscapes, opportunities, and trends with Sales Strategy support.
• Best Practices: Develop, evolve, and share RGM best practices across the organization.
• Assessments & Recommendations: Conduct thorough assessments and provide actionable recommendations based on change management plans.
• Sales Promotional Optimization: Enable sales promotional optimization by reviewing and adjusting existing tools.
• Capability Building: Develop new SRGM capabilities and transition them to respective commercial areas post-enablement.
• Strategic Conversations: Represent SRGM in strategic discussions during customer plan reviews, internal BU meetings and top-to-top meetings to optimize gross-to-net effectiveness.
• Complex Analyses: Support Sales Strategy leads with complex analyses to enhance value creation (e.g., PPA, Customer Asks).
• Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Sales Finance, Marketing, GS&A, Category Management, Brand Finance, and IT.
Expectations:
• This individual should be a keen observer of macro, cross-category trends and best practices as they relate to SRGM with a working knowledge of price pack architecture and mix management to ensure we are staying at the forefront of building & implementing strategic & precision driven revenue management practices
• Deep understanding of key business drivers, KPIs & strong financial acumen.
• Drives confidence and momentum by providing context + data insights for others to think, decide and act fast.
• Provide a holistic enterprise perspective on commercial challenges and SRGM lever implementation.
Experience & Skills:
• Strong technical & mathematical skills with the ability to develop insights and strategy recommendations.
• Experience in change management.
• Ideal: Private equity experience or interest in the stock market.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills, leadership presence, and organizational influence.
• Problem-solving mentality, intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen) and its nuances.
• Experience in negotiation (internal).
• Strong MS Excel & visualization aptitude.
This role can be Remote, but with preference to someone near CT, NY, NJ - with easy travel to our Shelton headquarters 4-6 times per year.
The salary range for this position is $128,000 - $165,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
