**Main Responsibilities**
+ Is responsible for achieving departmental/area goals and objectives. Supervises semi to highly skilled production, maintenance, and/or parts distribution warehouse employees on an assigned shift to ensure the manufacture of products and/or execution of parts orders within established delivery, quality, safety and cost standards. The supervisor is the first-line liaison between the production employees and the management staff and thus also serves the function of representing the company's interests with the shop floor staff.

+ Manage the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize production efficiency.
+ Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain or warehouse teams to ensure adequate supplies.
+ Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, including output, downtime, and efficiency metrics.
+ Communicate production performance and any issues to upper management.
+ Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
+ Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment malfunctions and ensure timely repairs.
+ Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
+ Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations.
+ Work closely with quality assurance, engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment on production goals and standards.
+ Participate in cross-functional teams (Bit’s &Bat’s))to address production challenges and develop solutions.
