Sr. Monetization Strategy Specialist

What you'll do As a Sr. Monetization Strategy Specialist with a focus on Verticals and Integrations, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing business model and monetization strategies to drive Docusign’s continued growth across its core and extended product offerings. You will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing customer behavior, developing pricing models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing and packaging for our growing IAM portfolio and its critical applications and integrations for LOB and industry use cases. The role involves a combination of critical thinking, a strong analytical mentality, a deep understanding of SaaS business models, and the ability to collaborate optimally across the organization. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director, Monetization Strategy. Responsibility Conduct detailed analysis and market research to understand the market landscape, trends, and customer/partner behavior to find opportunities Analyze customer usage data and behavior to develop insights that inform pricing and packaging decisions Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to evaluate the financial impact of different pricing scenarios Collaborate with product management, sales, and marketing teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new and existing offerings Monitor and analyze the performance of current monetization strategies and make recommendations for adjustments as needed Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in pricing, packaging, and monetization Support the development and implementation of new pricing models, such as usage-based pricing and bundled offerings Contribute to pricing decisions for new features and functionalities Communicate strategies to relevant partners and executives Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. What you bring Basic 8+ years in management consulting, strategy, pricing, finance, product management or product marketing roles with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, or equivalent experience 3+ years monetization strategy or pricing experience for technology/SaaS products Preferred Ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex problems Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams Meticulous with organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions Understanding of pricing models, strategies, and standard processes Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) Project management experience with a track record of leading and implementing successful monetization strategy initiatives Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: Washington: $129,000.00 - $190,550.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
