The fully enclosed stadium is also home to the UNLV Rebels football team and has hosted premier sporting events such as the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final, Pac-12 Championship Game, Las Vegas Bowl, and WWE SummerSlam. Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a strong account base, driving revenue growth, and closing contracts through strategic sales efforts. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, client engagement, and market research to position Allegiant Stadium as the premier event destination.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify, solicit, and qualify leads within defined market segments to drive revenue.
Develop and manage an account base that aligns with company financial objectives.
Execute strategic sales action plans, including prospecting, direct outreach, third-party partnerships, social selling, and tradeshow participation.
Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring alignment with both client needs and company goals.
Engage clients by clearly articulating Allegiant Stadium’s unique value proposition.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, industry influencers, and top-tier experiential agencies.
Lead the planning and execution of site visits, ensuring a curated experience with tailored presentations, F&B offerings, and branded collateral.
Work closely with clients to develop customized proposals, ensuring clarity and alignment with their event objectives.
Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through proactive communication, follow-up, and engagement strategies.
Strategic Planning & Industry Insights
Stay informed on industry trends, economic factors, and competitive insights to refine sales strategies.
Identify and engage high-potential accounts with repeat business opportunities, particularly groups of 5,000 – 20,000 attendees.
Collaborate with the VP of Sales and Senior Director of Sales to develop and refine sales strategies for key accounts.
Operational Excellence & CRM Management
Ensure all sales activities, client interactions, and revenue projections are accurately tracked within the CRM system.
Monitor follow-up deadlines, revenue reporting, and pipeline management to maintain a high level of efficiency.
Support sales team initiatives, including trade show coordination, travel logistics, and collateral development.
Event Sales & Contract Execution
Develop tailored estimates and proposals that highlight the stadium’s competitive advantages.
Assist in contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with venue guidelines while addressing client needs.
Facilitate deposit collection and manage contract execution, including addressing client concerns and redlining as needed.
Industry Engagement & Market Presence
Represent Allegiant Stadium at industry events, trade shows, and networking engagements (minimum of four times per year).
Maintain active membership in key industry organizations to enhance brand visibility and client relationships.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and provide strategic insights to the sales team.
This role offers a highly competitive commission structure, providing significant earning potential based on performance. In addition to a competitive base salary, our commission plan is designed to reward success, with uncapped opportunities for top performers to maximize their earnings.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)
5 years of related work experience
2 years of experience selling large complex group business, citywides or multiproperty bookings either in hotels or venues.
Must possess the following; Contract Negotiations, Customer Relations, Presentation, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Strong Communication, Strong Listening, Time Management and Organization Skills.
Requires evenings and weekend travel and networking.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both independently, and within a team
Networking skills with a proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients
Existing relationships with Experiential Agencies, Third Parties, local DMC’s, local hoteliers, LVCVA and customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Must have a knowledge of special events
Must have exposure to a sales environment and knowledge of sales strategies and the ability to implement these strategies
Event Sales or Event Management in a similar facility is preferred but not required
