RBR-Technologies is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support one of our customers in Columbia, MD. \n

RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nConfigure and optimize network switches, routers and firewalls\nConfigure Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS)\nManage application layer filtering on NextGen Firewalls\nConfigure and troubleshoot virtual networking, VLANs, and virtual routing and forwarding (VRFs)\nDevelop and implement network backup and recovery procedures.\nDiagnose network connectivity problems\nInstall and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software\nMonitor network capacity and performance\nMitigate network vulnerabilities to ensure information is safeguarded against outside parties\nTest and maintain network infrastructure including software and hardware devices\nConfigure and manage a VMware Cluster to support multiple tenant systems.\n\n

REQUIREMENTS\n\nActive TS\/SCI with polygraph\nMaster's degree in STEM AND 10 years' experience, OR\nBachelor's degree in STEM AND 12 years' experience, OR\nHigh school diploma and 15 years' experience as a Network Engineer\nExperience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS\nAbility to demonstrate cyber\/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.\nActive DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA)\nActive Cisco certification\n\n
