Responsibilities
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES/ QUALIFICATIONS:
Operator Specialist duties consist of routine operation of thermoforming equipment in a safe and effective manner. This includes but not be limited to identifying and correcting quality deficiencies, basic maintenance, adjustment, and troubleshooting of equipment and process. Direct and/or assist with co‑worker activities.
Ability to run to successfully run multiple lines concurrently, and/or pieces of equipment. Assist/train lower level operators.
Operator Specialist duties also routinely include basic set up, operation and troubleshooting of all automation equipment in an assigned department.
Paperwork, quality checks and housekeeping must be complete and accurate for all lines / tasks assigned to the Operator Specialist. Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIALS:
Operator Associate 3 or aboveAt least 12 months in an Operator positionDemonstrated abilities as a team player, good cooperation and communication Proactive approach to process interruptions and down time.Train lower level operatorsAble lift up to 50 lbs and meet essential physical requirements of position.Must possess or immediately purchase the required tool set for this positionFailure to meet the above essentials will result in disqualification from the position
MUST COMPLETE OPERATOR SPECIALIST CERTIFICATON TO RECEIVE RATE ADJUSTMENT TO OPERATOR SPECIALIST PAY.
