Sr. Paralegal
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Paralegal in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Sr. Paralegal, you'll be tasked with reviewing and preparing various real estate transaction documents, conducting legal research, and providing support to entry level team members. You will also be responsible for managing matters related to leasing office and retail real estate. Responsibilities • Handle the preparation and review of real estate transaction documents such as contracts, purchase agreements, leases, and deeds • Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including the analysis of permitted use restrictions and title review of recorded documents • Perform legal research on real estate laws, regulations, and case law to support various matters • Ensure the proper organization and maintenance of transaction files, both physical and electronic, for easy accessibility • Generate detailed reports and summaries related to transaction status, timelines, and issues • Provide necessary training and support to entry level paralegals or new team members • Manage all assigned matters regarding the leasing of office and retail real estate, including the preparation of lease agreements, amendments, consent approvals for assignments/subleases, notice letters to tenants, and other legal documentation • Assist with and oversee the contract execution process, including the use of DocuSign software. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Paralegal role, preferably within the Real Estate & Property industry. • Extensive knowledge and experience in Corporate Real Estate is required. • Proven track record of successfully handling Leases. • Familiarity and experience with Retail Properties is crucial. • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field is preferred. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret legal documents. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
