Create, prepare, review, proof, edit and manage highly complex documents, including contracts, corporate records, correspondence, reports, and presentationsResearch and analyze highly complex issues in a wide variety of subject areas of health care law affecting Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) companies, customers and pharmacies; find resolution for escalated issues Negotiate with customers, external vendors, outside/opposing counsel and government agencies to address and resolve legal issues Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with key internal business partners and serve as the liaison between legal department and assigned business area Represent Prime's legal department to internal and/or external groups on projects or contracts by leading or participating in various meetings Research and respond to regulatory inquiries Provide guidance by training, coaching, or mentoring other paraprofessionals and/or other staff Other duties as assignedEducation & Experience
Paralegal Certificate and/or Associates degree in Paralegal Studies or related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma from an accredited school or GED required8 years of experience working as a Legal Assistant or equivalent combined experience within Legal and Compliance functionsMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipMust be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
