Sr. Partner Marketing Manager, Amazon & Prime Marketing

The Role: We are seeking an innovative and result-oriented Sr. Partner Marketing Manager to help pioneer and scale a high impact, strategic project which will help drive the next phase of Amazon's growth in Japan. You will be responsible to own the co-marketing GTM and execute partner marketing with a strategic partner in order to generate demand and drive acquisition of New to Amazon shoppers and Prime Members through partner channels (physical stores, digital marketing, mobile app, paid ATL/BTL advertising, etc.). You should be data-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, an effective collaborator, and strong communicator able to work with key stakeholders across multiple teams. The right candidate must be able to understand the needs of both partners and customers to drive the right business results. They will have the ability to earn the trust of partners while also negotiating with them to drive Amazon business priorities. They will use customer insights, partner marketing performance, and business data to inform and build a comprehensive co-marketing strategy while working directly with partners to develop appropriate relationships and launch through-partner programs and influence partner marketing to drive business KPIs. To do this, you must be able to work across multiple functions of marketing, pulling in expertise as needed to quickly learn new domains as required. This is a hands on role which requires close engagement on all partner campaigns, ultimately building mechanisms and establishing new tools to efficiently automate and scale programs. Over time the candidate will prepare to build and scale a team of partner marketers. Key job responsibilities * Own both long term strategic and short term tactical co-marketing programs executed through external Amazon partners to generate demand and drive acquisition of New to Amazon shoppers and Prime Members. * Develop the GTM and partner approach for a partner in a new vertical space working across multiple stakeholders and contacts within the partner’s internal teams. * Work closely with partners to understand their customers, their goals, and their approach, combining with Amazon data and goals to develop a GTM strategy and execution plan. * Dive deep on the 'through partner' customer journey to identify and size new member growth and engagement opportunities; lead creation of innovative marketing, methodically testing and learning to address opportunities. * Define, develop, launch, and automate marketing initiatives for partner specific channels and partner specific opportunities, analysing and optimising every touch point across the consumer journey * Sell new programs into the partner by developing a pitch based on the partner's goals and working with the Account Manager to sell-in, negotiate gives/gets, and get partner signoff. * Regularly review partner content, audit partner channels, and track performance of programs to manage the ongoing programs, identify break/fix issues and find growth opportunities. * Own key growth goals, driving cross-functional workstreams across a range of global stakeholders to deliver results. * Measure and report on results, identify trends/insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights across campaigns and programs to achieve KPI’s About the team The Team: The JP Shopping Experience and Growth (SxG) team works to help customers discover the best of Amazon and Prime using data and insights to invent, test, and scale programs that drive customer engagement and Prime growth.
