Sr. Payroll Analyst
Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Payroll Analyst to join our team. The role will focus on processing semi-monthly and weekly union/non-union payrolls, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and serving as the point of contact for US employees regarding payroll-related queries. The position also involves supporting workflows to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. Responsibilities: • Processing accurate and timely semi-monthly and weekly union/non-union payrolls in a multi-state and Canada environment using UKGPro • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements • Performing regular pre and post audits to ensure payroll accuracy • Acting as the point of contact for US employees regarding questions related to payroll • Developing and maintaining payroll procedures • Producing various payroll-related reports when requested • Ensuring timely and effective resolution for payroll-related matters • Verifying new staff information in UKGPro • Supporting workflows to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely • Interacting with UKGPro regarding tax issues and notices • Auditing and ensuring that all W-2s and tax reports are accurate and completed on time • Processing wage garnishments, pay levies, and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner • Working with benefits to ensure the timely administration of deductions and employee changes Requirements • Proficient in Full Cycle Payroll management, ensuring all processes from record keeping to disbursement are handled efficiently. • Demonstrated experience in managing Multi-state Payroll, understanding the complexities and legalities of differing state laws. • Expertise in general Payroll processing, with the ability to handle any payroll-related tasks. • Proven ability to manage Payroll for over 500 Employees, showcasing strong organizational and management skills. • Familiarity with Payroll - Union, understanding the specific requirements and regulations involved. • Proficient in using UKG Pro software for streamlined payroll processing and management. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, using the software for data analysis, organization, and payroll calculations.
