Job Summary:
As a Payroll Specialist at Advance Auto Parts, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions for our team members. You will work closely with our HR and Finance teams to maintain payroll records, resolve payroll discrepancies, and adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
What will you do?
Process full payroll operations for employees accurately and on time.Work collaboratively with external payroll vendor to ensure pre-defined service levels are delivered.Validate all payroll data including timesheets, bonuses, leaves, deductions, and taxes.Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.Ensure finalization of annual payroll certificated- Form 16’s of all employees are completed timely and accurately.Partner with business stakeholders such as Compensation, Benefits, Finance, and Accounting teams on all initiatives.Prepare payroll reports for management review.Prepare payroll compliance reports.Partner with internal and external auditors, maintaining SOX complianceDevelop and Maintain Payroll SOPsEnsure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding payroll processes.Top 5 Required Technical Skills:
Payroll Management- Acumen in managing payroll data, balancing payroll runs, ensuring accuracy, preparing payroll reporting, and troubleshooting issues with employees.Computer Literacy- Ability to perform basic tasks using a computer, such as operating common software systems like Microsoft Office and data entry.Mathematics- Skilled in the use of math, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, to do calculations, count, and measure.Multitasking- The ability to manage or oversee multiple tasks that overlap in scope and time.Organization- Skill in using a set of techniques to facilitate efficiency at completing tasks and prioritizing work.Technical skill-Proficient with Workday, Microsoft Office, Excel.Top 5 Required Leadership Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.4-6 years of experience in Global payroll processing or a similar role.WorkDay experience preferred.Certification in Payroll (e.g., CPP - Certified Payroll Professional) preferred.Work Location and Availability:
This role based at our Advance India Innovation Center (AIIC) in Hyderabad, India. This is a full-time position with flexible hours based on business needs
