Sr. Payroll Supervisor
The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for overseeing USA payroll processing, time and attendance and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves managing the payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, time and attendance, and providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders regarding payroll-related inquiries. You will be responsible for continuously improving the team's overall performance by creating a best-in-class customer experience approach and driving innovative process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a positive mix of experience, outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills. **JOB DUTIES:** + Lead the payroll team, providing training and support as needed. + Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. + Review and validate payroll data, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. + Oversee time attendance system updates and improvements. + Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters. + Prepare and maintain payroll reports for leadership review. + Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure accurate employee data and changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, salary changes). + Oversee year-end/quarterly payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reporting. + Continuous research to stay up to date on changes in payroll laws and regulations. + Contribute to payroll related activities for acquisitions and divestitures. + Support audits as appropriate (both internal & external). + Contribute to the development of best practices, documentation and implementation of new Payroll administrative processes and policies. + Develop, lead, and implement operational strategies (projects & initiatives) to improve customer service, increase employees, leaders, and business partners productivity while simplifying Payroll processes. + Liaise with outsourced payroll providers on issues, enhancements, and compliance topics. **YOU MUST HAVE:** + 10+ years of payroll experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. + 3+ years of experience with payroll software, MS Office, time, and labor HCM systems. For example, the base salary for this role in Melville, NY is $105,777 to $184,023 per year and New York City, NY is $110,376 to $192,024.
