Roles & Responsibilities

 

About the Role: The Senior Pensions and Benefits Specialist assists in the design, implementation and oversight of pensions and benefit programmes and policies. You will be part of the Global Rewards team which aims to effectively attract, engage and reward HEINEKEN’s global workforce. Based at HEINEKEN’s Head Office in Amsterdam you will work closely with colleagues from various teams at Head Office as well as our Operating Companies around the globe.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Providing strategic and operational support to our Operating Companies around the world, to develop competitive, well-governed and cost-effective pension and benefit plans

Support managing and optimizing our global insured employee benefit programmes financed through our internal insurance company (Employee Benefits Captive) including the management of regular renewal cycle and activities

Managing the rollout of strategic initiatives like Global Minimum Benefits

Prepare quarterly meetings of the Global Pensions Governance Committee including meeting materials, topics, minutes and follow up on matters arising

Proactively seek opportunities and synergies to improve the quality of our pension and benefit programmes, whilst controlling cost and managing risk

 

Experience & profile (what & how)

7 - 10 years direct experience as a subject matter expert on international pensions and employee benefits. Experience in risk benefit financing and Captives is a plus

Actuarial and econometric skills with technical knowledge of pension and benefit plans in multiple countries

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and internal/external stakeholders

Strong project management skills to lead or participate in cross-functional teams

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
