TheSr. People & Culture Generalistposition is to provide exemplary leadership in the People & Culture department by collaborating with local senior leadership to implement strategies aimed at enhancing the employee experience. This role encompasses overseeing the daily functions of the department, which include administering pay, benefits, and leave, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and practices. This role will support employees at the Lebanon site as well as our remote sales team. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Collaborate with leaders to support full-life cycle of employee management while identifying opportunities for process improvements striving for world-class People & Culture partnership. -Investigate employee relation issues and provide recommendations on action or outcomes. -Analyze data on employee metrics to develop actions/recommendations for improvement. -Maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information. -Coach leadership to improve work relationships, build morale, and improve hourly retention metrics. -Track and make recommendations on people and culture statistics including turnover, new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations. -Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. -Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. -Attends and leads employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. -Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and modern technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. -Performs other duties as assigned. Education Skills/Competencies: -3+ years Human Resource and/or People & Culture generalist experience -Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people skills while always treating employees with respect. -Previous experience supporting a remote sales team is preferred. -Possess strong business orientation and process improvement skills. -Desire to work as a team with a purposeful approach. -Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. -Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and knowledge of benefit programs (Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K, workers compensation. -Ability to work independently and to work with an initiative-taking/proactive nature. -Excellent grammar, writing, and communication skills. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical/Work Requirements: - Manufacturing environment; exposure to elements such as noise, dust, cold, heat, and/or odor. - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - Frequent finger and wrist manipulation; see fine detail for extended periods of time. - Must be able to access and navigate each department within the facility. - Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times.
